The initiative, which combines tradition and economic revitalization to support local commerce and hospitality, will be developed through the "Everything is in Móstoles" platform.
The Móstoles City Council, through Móstoles Desarrollo, is launching the “Rosca de San Marcos 2026” campaign to invite citizens to rediscover one of the most emblematic products of the municipality while supporting local businesses and restaurants.
This initiative is part of the "Everything is in Móstoles" platform and aims to promote shopping at local businesses while highlighting one of the most characteristic traditions of this time of year. Any business not currently participating that wishes to join simply needs to register via the following link: register .
The Rosca de San Marcos is a tradition deeply rooted in the cultural and gastronomic identity of Móstoles. This custom, associated with the April 25th festivities, originated as a pilgrimage where locals would go to the countryside to celebrate the arrival of spring with a picnic, in which the rosca was a key ingredient. This initiative aims to maintain this connection to local traditions, bringing them closer to the entire community and ensuring their continuation.
Shop in your neighborhood and get your free rosca.
